The site's web hosting company tracks the number of visitors and the referring URL. This information is not processed or used in any way by Barrier Island Art, except to view the number of visitors to the site. Again, no personal information is collected.
Visitors who voluntarily opt to join the site's mailing list will receive newsletters and special offers from the site. No personal information, other than the person's valid email address, is required. All emails are sent in strict accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's CAN-SPAM Act, and recipients are always offered the choice of opting out of receiving future emails. Visitor's email addresses are NEVER given to third parties or sold to third-party mailing lists.
Visitors who sign Ron's Guest Book will not receive email unless the webmaster responds with a comment, which will not be posted on the site.
Visitors must register to post comments on A Site for Shore Eyes, Barrier Island Art's blog. All comments are moderated by the webmaster for appropriate content before being posted. If a comment is deemed inappropriate, for whatever reason, the webmaster reserves the right to either edit the comment, or delete it in its entirety. In cases of editing, the comment author will always be given the opportunity to either approve the edited version, or request that it remain unedited. In the latter case, the webmaster may opt to not post the comment.
